Who am I

To be really short about it: My name is Patrick Heusser, I was born on 9/16/1977 in Steinmaur, a small village near Zurich (natively written Zürich) which is one of the largest cities in Switzerland, whereas a city counts as large, having more then half a million population. At the moment I'm living in Dielsdorf actually not really far of Steinmaur (20km north west of Zurich) and work for a Swiss bank to fulfill the typical Swiss clichee. And to make it really complete: I love chocholate and the mountains!

What I like

Some of my interests are showed on this page. Further I love doing sports. During the winter snowboarding is great. In the warm summer which I basically prefer, just being outdoor is my favorite. Playing badmington, tennis or table tennis takes me to the limits. On the other hand, going out for dancing is which is best after a long day in my office.

finding true happyness with a 20 feet car?

It's a fact that I do not own a big lonely Island, nor I drive the streets with my 10 feet luxary car. Altough this is a nice imagination, I do not believe, that this would grant to make me happy in the long run. Having all this nice toys could be a good pleasure for a short time period. But then, the next step would be to top the current situation, e.g. getting a new 20 feet pickup, which leads into a 40 feet super-stretch limosine, and so on... Believe me, at least 80 feet vehicles are really rare!!! So somethimes this topping will have and end so the pleasure will. It seems that this is not the ultimate solution.

... or get happy by maximizing the small things?

I'm trying to get away of this "topping strategy". I believe the only way to go, is to find pleasure in small things. The trick is to be able to see the small beautiful things. May be a cloud can be incrediable, or a walk along a beach. But even sitting behind a window watching the raindrops going down can be amusing. As usually, it's not that easy as it's been said. But I'm working on it and try to get into the right direction.
