What is photo art?

Hmm, as far as I know, photo art is not a common term. I use it, to describe my way to create the pictures you discover in this section. They all are based on real taken photographs that I manipulate until I got my desired result. Sometimes one picture is being composed of several completely different source photos that are mixed or layered. In most of the instances the sources picture is not recognisable anymore.

I got my first contact with graphics while exploring mathematics with its beautiful fractal shapes . Later I started experimenting with real world photographs.

My dilemma

So as you might have realized, I'm a little scared of taking a blank paper and a pencil, so I'm always happy having a good base to start with. It's easier for me to develop an idea and realize my vision...
